My Macbook Pro is essential to the work I do! I prefer a laptop over desktop because I like to take my work with me wherever I go in the world, whether that is to another country or down the street to the local cafe! I'm a huge of Apple products for designers as I love the functionality and compatibility between different devices.
In my books, this is a must have for all digital creatives. I use the IPad for the majority of the work I do before transferring everything to the computer. From sketches, logo types, branding images, to custom artwork and custom detail work - everything is done using the iPad and 2nd Gen. Apple Pencil.
A simple notepad or sketch sheets are crucial for for creative work. I use these for jotting down creative ideas, sketching website design layouts, drawing out logos, and sketching all my artwork. You can never go wrong with putting your ideas into a notepad to keep as your personal collective inspiration treasure.
Colors a must for designing, we all know this. However, I highly recommend using colors not only for the obvious, drawing, but also for organizing your designs by color. I also like using colors to organize my schedule for the day, assiging a color for each project that needs to be accomplished that day. There's something satisfying about crossing off a task on the calendar, and the colors help me stay diligent with my days work!

None of us are perfect, and there is always room for improvement, no matter how well business is doing. A brand review is a mental check-in to assess the strengths and weaknesses of your brand. Maybe your style and brand focus have drastically changed since opening and your business just isn’t reflecting that. It could be time to note that a brand refresh or brand redesign is needed. Because every brand is different, we will all have separate goals and tasks to work on and refine. DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR DEPOSITS?
Yes, we do! We understand that working with a designer can be a big investment, and we want to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible for all our clients. All custom website design and branding projects include a monthly payment plan. With each payment plan, the first payment will be the required 30% deposit to reserve your spot on our calendar. After that, the payment plan will be split equally over the projected months of the project. On average, projects run from 2-6 months. If you have any questions or have any issues with the payments, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we will work with you to find a solution.

WILL I NEED HOSTING AND A DOMAIN?
Yes, a domain and hosting will be needed in order to begin the design process. I suggest to secure your domain name immediately upon choosing a business name because it can be very frustrating to have chosen a business name and then come to find out that the domain name is unavailable. For hosting, if you select Showit as your platform, hosting is provided as part of their monthly service. However, Showit do not provide email accounts so you will need to acquire email account services (if you are looking to have a business email) through either an email service such as G Suite from Google or your domain registrar may have options for you as well. If you select Wordpress as your hosting platform, you will need your own hosting account. I recommend either Siteground or GoDaddy which both offer monthly or yearly hosting plans.

HOW LONG DO PROJECTS TAKE?
Project timelines vary from 3-16 weeks, depending on the service and our communication. Each custom design project will vary, but you can expect to allow the estimated time for the following:
1-Page Website Design: 3-4 Weeks
7-Page Website Design: 12-15 Weeks
E-Commerce Website Design: 14-16 Weeks
Branding Foundation: 4-6 Weeks
Branding Foundation and Identity: 12-16 Weeks
Once you are booked in the calendar, we will create an a timeline of the estimated times for deadlines as to have a clear guideline for both you and us. We will stick to the set schedule and noted delivery dates on the timelines. However, we can definitely be flexible if you need to move any dates forward, need extra time, or need longer to provide feedback. This is your project we are working on, and I always want my clients to feel that they are making the right choices without any pressure of timing constraints or a strict schedule.

I do not put out work that both my client and myself agree to be 110% perfect, and have checked all of the requirements we said the project must have upon completion. I educate myself on every client’s business that I work with, and treat the business as my business. Each project is back by research, thought, heart, and integrity. Because of this, my project times vary from 3-16 weeks. I don’t believe in rushing a project just to get it out there.
